The City of Ostrava is offering a plot directly beside Ostrava’s main railway station (Ostrava hlavní nádraží), one of the city’s key transport hubs and a planned stop on the future Czech high-speed rail network (VRT). The site is suited to a hotel or other public-facing development.
Any new building on the site is expected to relate to the planned reconstruction of the station forecourt and to help connect the station with the historically valuable urban area around Svatopluka Čecha Square. As one of the most visible gateways to the city, this site offers an investor the opportunity to shape the first impression Ostrava makes on rail travellers for decades to come.
