Rezidence Čakovice
The residential project comprises approximately 520 apartments, builds on the traditional built environment of Čakovice and combines modern living with green spaces and a full range of local amenities.
The Rezidence Čakovice project is being built on the north-eastern outskirts of Prague in a district that retains its own identity, historical buildings and the character of a small town. Sekyra Group will gradually build approximately 520 apartments here in several phases. Two residential blocks comprising 148 apartments are currently under construction.
The architectural design by A69 – architekti draws on the scale and layout of Čakovice’s traditional built environment. The blocks have between three and five floors and are connected by new streets lined with rows of trees, which extend towards the old part of Čakovice. The project blends seamlessly into the existing urban fabric.
The apartments are designed in layouts ranging from studios to spacious three-bedroom family apartments. Ground-floor units have their own gardens, whilst most apartments on the upper floors have balconies or loggias. Parking spaces are located in underground garages. The project also includes a multi-purpose building, which is planned to house a nursery school, doctors’ offices and accommodation units.
Greenery plays a significant role in the design. In the immediate vicinity of the project, there is a stream, a pond and a castle park. Residents also have access to nurseries, a primary school, a grammar school, healthcare facilities, shops, services and sports facilities.
