Prague Metropolitan Plan IPR Praha is the City of Prague’s planning institute, which prepared the new Metropolitan Plan. The Plan was approved by the City Assembly this year and redefines how Prague grows — unlocking inner-city reserves and brownfield sites through a transit-oriented development strategy, while preserving the city’s UNESCO-protected historic center and its iconic skyline. In Munich, IPR Praha is presenting Prague’s development potential under the Metropolitan Plan. |

Na Jelenách | Connected Life: A New Urban Hub for Southern Prague Na Jelenách is taking shape as a neighbourhood built around long-term rental living and designed to support people through every stage of life – from their first home to raising a family and growing older. The Connected Life concept brings homes, workplaces, services, education, sport and care close together. As people’s needs change, they can remain in a place they know and belong to. Quality of life also depends on what happens between the buildings: safe streets, places to meet and easy ways to get around on foot or by bicycle. New connections will link the neighbourhood with Opatov and Chodov, while a planned bridge across the D1 motorway will help overcome a barrier that divides the area today. Na Jelenách will form the foundation of a new urban hub for southern Prague – a place where connection also means safety, community and the possibility of feeling at home throughout life. |

Žižkov City Sekyra Group’s Žižkov City is one of Prague’s most significant urban regeneration projects. A new city district will be developed on the site of the former Žižkov Freight Station, comprising more than 4,000 apartments, public spaces, green areas, civic amenities and active ground floors with shops and services. Designed for more than 8,000 residents, the project places strong emphasis on high-quality architecture, a perimeter-block urban structure and seamless integration with the surrounding city. The total investment will exceed CZK 25 billion. |
